Our Services
While we are primarily a construction company that specializes in asphalt paving, we offer the equipment and skill to support many aspects of a heavy construction project.
Asphalt Paving
Advanced Asphalt Company is recognized as an Industry leader in asphalt paving. Not only do we have a history in the industry and deep experience, when you work with us you know that your job will be completed with the most environmentally sound techniques possible.
As the United States works to implement green initiatives, asphalt is keeping pace with the times. These newer paving techniques promote:
- Sustainable development
- Conservation of natural resources with more efficient surfacing techniques
- Improved quality of the pavements that Americans rely on
- Reduction of the carbon footprint of the industry
We employ both traditional and newer, more ‘green’ technologies such as:
Recycled Asphalt Pavement (RAP)
Recycled Asphalt Pavement (RAP) is the process of reusing old asphalt pavement by milling, crushing, and sizing it. The recycled material can then be blended into new asphalt during the mixing process and laid back on the roadway. In 2019, approximately 97 million tons of RAP were collected nationwide for reuse, saving nearly 60 million cubic yards of landfill space.
Ultra Thin and Micro-Mix Overlays
These surfaces are thinner pavement layers with much smaller particle size in the aggregate. The mix is more like sand so it can be laid won in a thinner layer (as there is no need to compensate for larger inclusions in the thickness).
Newest Technologies
We are always on the lookout for new technologies that can support quality and accuracy of our projects. We are currently using drones to provide aerial views of our work, and GPS guided equipment on site. We have Quality Control labs at every one of our aggregate plants to make sure our materials are top-quality for every job.
